Olimpia Zagnoli is an Italian illustrator. She is able to express herself through illustration as her actual job in her daily life. She describes her role as a privilege, but she also knows it’s an immense responsibility. Grown up in a creative family, she can take the witty but subtle observations about those around her and simple and express through the style of vibrant blocks of color and bold shapes. Olimpia always loved to transform visions into images. Wanting to be independent, so commercial illustration seemed like her most natural and appealing choice.
Olimpia Zagnoli是一位义大利插画家。她能够透过插图这个她日常生活中的实际工作来表达自己。她将自己的角色形容为一种特权，但她也知道这是一项巨大的责任。在一个富有创意的家庭中长大，她可以对周围的人进行诙谐且微妙的观察，并透过充满活力的色块和大胆形状的风格来表达。 Olimpia总是喜欢将视觉转化为图像。因为当初想要独立，所以商业插图自然而然成为最吸引她的选择。
She conveys the thought by creating art work. A loved-up female couple, sharing a plate of spaghetti which is designed by Olimpia on the box of Barilla’s spaghetti package design shows the concept of LGBTQ. She said that “Being an illustrator means creating an artificial world in which people can have all sorts of skin colours, clothes, sizes, jobs and roles. The smallest detail of choosing a color is an act of responsibility,” she explains. “ I’m talking about being an observer of this world, capturing all of this is our work. Images and words have power. They create conversations like this one we’re having now.”
她藉由创作艺术作品来传达思想。一对相爱的女性情侣、共享一份义大利面，由Olimpia所设计在Barilla的义大利面包装设计盒上，展示了LGBTQ的概念。她说：「作为插画家，意味着创造一个人造世界，人们可以拥有各种肤色、衣服、尺寸，工作和角色。连选择颜色的最小细节都是一种责任」她解释道。 「我所说的是成为这个世界的观察者，捕捉周围的一切是我们的工作。图像和文字具有力量，他们创造了我们现在所拥有的对话。」
She think it’s important to support other talents and hard-working people despite their gender, color, sexual orientation, age. She can also realize how hard it can be to be heard and respected in the world and in a working environment for other women, so it is nesscessrily to support and help each other overcome those difficulties, speak up for ourselves and educate ourselves and others.
她认为支持其他有才能和勤劳的人是很重要的，无论她们的性别、肤色、性取向或年龄。她能够意识到在世界上和在其他女性的工作环境中，要听到和受到尊重是多么的困难，所以更必须支持和帮助彼此克服这些困难，为自己说话、教育自己和他人。
